GHRP-6 is a synthetic growth-hormone-releasing hexapeptide (His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) that stimulates the pituitary to release growth hormone through a receptor distinct from the GH-releasing hormone receptor, and it was the first such peptide studied extensively in humans.
